At The Deli on Kinghorne, great food and coffee start with people. The people who make it, the people who serve it, and the people who come through the door every day.
After more than a decade working at The Deli on Kinghorne, mother and son dream team Sara and Zaid became its new owners in 2024. Having grown alongside the business, they understand its rhythms, its regulars, and what locals value most. Following a major renovation, they reopened The Deli with a refreshed space and renewed focus, while staying true to what has always mattered: fresh, local food, great coffee, and a place where people feel at home.
Our team of chefs, baristas, and service staff are committed to serving the very best the NSW South Coast has to offer, straight from the kitchen to the table. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or a quick coffee stop, we want you to feel welcome in our space, just as we do in our own.

Our approach is simple. Use the best ingredients we can find, prepare as much as possible in-house, and take pride in the details. We bake Italian-style bread and panini daily, cure our own salmon, and make fresh ricotta whenever we can. What we don’t make ourselves, we source locally from South Coast producers we trust.
Our coffee philosophy follows the same thinking. We proudly serve Vittoria Coffee, one of Australia’s most respected and iconic coffee brands, known for quality, consistency, and decades of expertise. As the only venue in Nowra serving Vittoria, every cup is carefully prepared by our baristas to deliver a smooth, balanced coffee you can rely on every single time.
More than anything, The Deli on Kinghorne is about connection. Familiar faces, good conversation, and food that’s made properly. Sara and Zaid are proud to carry that legacy forward, continuing to serve the Nowra community with warmth, quality, and intention.
